Nutcrackers returns for its third year and this time with a fun twist in Nutcrackers: Black Christmas. Produced by Sisters of St. James Productions (SOSJP), this is our drag holiday spectacular/ charity event mixed with a fun halloween twist a la Tim Burtons, “Nightmare Before Christmas”. This show is guaranteed to be unlike any other in San Diego. Meant for all, it is a community building opportunity during a time that can be quite hard for many queer folks, especially for many queer youth and college-aged folks. Performers are encouraged to perform songs from their favorite holiday albums, films, and more to create a twisted Christmas Spooktacular. All while raising funds for the Tracie Jada O’Brien Scholarship, which supports queer youth education and opportunites.
